What is a Storytelling Session?

A storytelling approach is setting the scene to allow a story unfold during a session. It allows moments to take place, and captures the emotion and feelings behind it. It's not creating fake photos, but allowing real moments to happen, guided by a photographers artistic direction.
Real moments.
Real laughs.
Real interaction.
A session revolved around activity:
This session with the Garcia family was so fun! As soon as we got to the location, all the kids jumped out of their car with their fishing poles, and lures and we headed towards the water!
The kids were so happy coming to the session, because there was no stress of sitting still and smiling for an hour. A session focused on an activity that your family already loves doing, can be such a great way to actually get photos that you love and cherish of your family!
Why activity in photos is so important
Don't get me wrong, photos of your family looking and smiling at the camera is super important. I love to add a mix of smiling photos, and candid photos in the galleries I deliver. Because the photos of your family laughing, genuinely smiling, and interacting, are the pictures you'll cherish most. While we take photos, let's make memories too!
