Winter maternity photos in the rented cabin

Jackie and Nick enjoyed their baby moon in the beginning of January.
Although it was bitter cold out that day, we decided to focus on photos in the cabin they were renting, before we took photos around the resort. They stayed in the Sleepy Pine Cottages.
The photos in the cabin are the most intentional, cozy and emotional photos that truly capture this journey for Jackie and Nick.

Do I need maternity photos on my BABY MOON?
You may be reading this, and asking if you need to hire a photographer on your baby moon.
And the answer is, if you want to remember this journey, what these days felt like before your world changed for the best, then yes.
These moments will slip away in a blink of an eye, so don't forget what these days felt like.
Pictures are memories you can come back to, when you long to live in those moments again.

Jackie had a laid back outfit picked out for the cabin. A white button down to show off her bump, and unbuttoned baggy jeans.
Jackie and Nick brought their dog Roxy on their baby moon getaway. One of my favorite moments that we captured was Roxy laying her head on her moms bump.
The evening sunlight cast perfectly through their cabin window.

Photos
in the
Glasshouse
around the resort
We first took photos in the glasshouse. The glasshouse had a fireplace, boho tables, and the most gorgeous modern windows.
After taking photos in the warm and heated glasshouse, we braved the cold and headed outside to take a few photos outside near the barn patio that was strung with fairy lights.
I had the best time with Jackie and Nick as we documented their love and their last getaway before their blessing arrived. Because these photos are proof that their baby is already so loved, and these photos will be memories to show their baby one day.
